Role Summary:
Athelas is seeking a dynamic Growth Engineer to join our team and play a pivotal role in driving the company's growth through technical innovation and engineering solutions. Situated within the Growth Team and reporting directly to the General Manager, this position is crucial for leveraging technology to identify and capitalize on strategic opportunities, thereby boosting revenue and expanding our market presence. Unlike traditional roles, this position focuses on utilizing engineering skills to devise and implement data-driven strategies and technological solutions aimed at maximizing return on investment (ROI).
As a Growth Engineer, your role involves more than just developing strategies. You will be deeply involved in analyzing market trends, consumer behavior, and the competitive landscape to ensure Athelas's competitive advantage. Your work will be grounded in a data-driven methodology, utilizing your technical skills to convert complex data into actionable insights and strategies. You will collaborate closely with sales, product development, and analytics teams to develop a unified and effective growth framework.
In this capacity, you are not just a strategist but a technological innovator, pushing Athelas towards achieving its growth targets in a competitive environment. This role requires a unique combination of technical expertise, creative problem-solving, and a profound understanding of growth-driven engineering practices, making you a key contributor to Athelas's growth journey.
Responsibilities

Engineer and implement scalable growth strategies using technical solutions to optimize ROI and increase revenue.
Utilize data analytics and engineering tools to assess the performance of growth initiatives and enhance efficiency.
Innovate and apply methodologies to uncover and seize new growth opportunities.
Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure that growth strategies are well-integrated with overall business objectives.
Manage and enhance growth channels through technical optimizations and automations.
Use segmentation, targeting, and engineering algorithms to refine growth tactics and boost their effectiveness.
Design, execute, and analyze experiments (A/B tests, multivariate tests) to refine and validate growth strategies.
Perform thorough market research using technical tools to discover new opportunities and anticipate industry shifts.
Develop and maintain technical partnerships and integrations to bolster growth efforts.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related analytical field.
3+ years of experience in a role focused on growth optimization, ROI analysis, or a related field within the tech and/or healthcare industry.
Demonstrated success in developing and executing ROI-driven growth strategies.
Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to turn data into actionable insights.
Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities.
Deep understanding of experimental design and analysis (e.g., A/B testing).
Experience with optimizing marketing budgets for maximum efficiency and ROI.
Up-to-date knowledge of digital technologies and growth hacking tools.
Ability to work effectively across functions with product development, sales, and customer support teams.
Creative and strategic thinker with the ability to identify and pursue innovative growth opportunities.
Strong project management skills, capable of leading multiple projects simultaneously.
