Today, Lit Protocol is being used by hundreds of applications for decentralized access control. In the future, Lit Protocol will serve as part of the foundation for an internet with private and portable user data.
Lit Protocol is looking for a Senior Javascript Engineer to join our team whose focus will be on the SDK, tooling, and UI elements.
In this role, you will have ownership over the features you implement, and are expected to think critically about how they should work to align with the vision of the entire product.
Core Qualifications:

Fluency in developing intuitive, scalable SDK APIs
Fluency developing against backend APIs
Fluency in TypeScript
Fluency in bundling technologies (eg. Webpack, Babel)
Experience developing open source projects
Experience working with browser security and storage APIs
Experience with WASM
Experience with jest (javascript testing framework)
Experience writing both Object Orientated and Functional programming paradigms
Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token, OAuth, and Passwordless Authentication
Understanding of smart contracts
Logical thinker interested in building high-assurance systems
Able to accurately predict and ship code in a timely manner
Proven track record of independently driving projects in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable giving and receiving constructive feedback
Excellent written and verbal communication skills on both technical and non-technical issues

Nice to Have:

Experience in web3 / crypto
Experience with alternative runtimes (eg. Bun)
Experience with NX or Lerna (mono repo management)
Leadership Experience
Able to read and understand various programming languages including Rust
Experience with Deno
Experience working as part of a distributed team
