Role Summary
Moveworks is seeking a Software Engineer specializing in Natural Language Understanding (NLU) and Agentic AI to join their team. In this role, you will be instrumental in advancing the capabilities of the Moveworks Copilot platform by developing and scaling AI-driven systems. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of machine learning, large language models (LLMs), and cognitive architectures, with a passion for creating high-impact solutions in a fast-paced environment. Success in this role will be measured by your ability to deliver robust, scalable, and efficient AI solutions that enhance user experiences and contribute to the platform's overall evolution.
Job Duties
Design, build, and enhance AI-driven agent systems with a focus on reliability, scalability, and performance.
Implement cutting-edge AI algorithms and cognitive architectures, bringing them to production scale.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including machine learning, security, and product, to deliver high-quality enterprise AI products.
Drive the development and iteration of LLM-powered features, such as in-context learning, enterprise knowledge graphs, and multimodal reasoning.
Contribute to the ongoing improvement of the Moveworks Copilot platform by integrating feedback and data-driven insights.
Ensure all code is robust, extensible, and maintainable, adhering to best practices in software engineering.
Actively participate in the evaluation and optimization of AI models, focusing on latency, correctness, and data privacy.
Requirements/Qualifications
Must-Haves:
A minimum of 2 years of experience in designing and improving production systems at scale.
Strong proficiency in Python and/or Golang, with experience in a Mac development environment.
Ability to clearly communicate complex engineering concepts and collaborate effectively with team members.
A track record of delivering production-grade code and driving product improvements in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail, coupled with a drive for continuous learning and staying updated with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning.
Nice-to-Haves:
Experience working with large language models (LLMs), particularly in model selection, cognitive architecture design, and balancing latency/correctness tradeoffs.
Hands-on experience across multiple stages of the machine learning lifecycle, including dataset curation, model training, and deployment.
Knowledge of AI fairness, privacy, and security principles, with a focus on creating inclusive and privacy-preserving AI systems.
Success in this role involves not only technical excellence but also the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team to push the boundaries of what's possible with AI in enterprise applications.
