Our unique integrated stack of optimized hardware, software, and increasingly AI, coupled with the patient-centric experience of our clinics across North America, have allowed us to lead the charge against “we caught it too late again.” Prenuvo operates preventative screening clinics in Vancouver, Silicon Valley, Dallas, Boca Raton, Minneapolis, Los Angeles, New York City, Bethesda, and Chicago, with more clinics in North America and internationally in the next 2 years.

The Opportunity

We are changing healthcare and bringing a slow moving goliath of an industry into the present while blazing a trail into the future of radiology and clinical operations through software, automation and AI. We are looking for a Staff Full Stack Engineer to join our Clinical Engineering team! This is a remote position based out of ON, AB, or BC in Canada.

What You’ll Do

  • Improving system quality by identifying issues and common patterns, and developing standard operating procedures
  • Enhancing applications by identifying opportunities for improvement, making recommendations and designing and implementing systems.
  • Maintaining and improving existing codebases and peer review code changes.
  • Liaising with colleagues to implement technical designs
  • Investigating and using new technologies where relevant
  • Providing written knowledge transfer material

What You’ll Bring

  • 8+ years solving technical challenges with your strong command of back-end tech stack (primarily Python, GraphQL and frameworks like Flask and/or FastAPI) and front-end tech stack (primarily React, Typescript, and Redux)
  • We consider experience in other tech stacks (like Java and/or NodeJS, AngularJS, VueJS, MobX) and frameworks (like Django) as a huge bonus
  • We consider nice to have experience in Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine (PACS,OHIF, DICOM, FDA, ISO 14971, ISO 13485, Electronic Medical Record, Healthlake Imaging, Medical Imaging)
  • Strong experience and knowledge of different types of databases (like SQL and/or NoSQL - primarily Postgres and/or DynamoDB)
  • We consider nice to have experience in graphic libraries (like OpenGL, Verge3D, Babylon.js, PyQt5, Tkinter)
  • 3+ years experience in different CI/CD pipelines (like CircleCI, Jenkins or TravisCI) we also consider as a bonus as well as cloud experience (like AWS, GCP and/or Azure)
  • Candidates with Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field, equivalent experience or evidence of exceptional ability to help elevate the team are always welcome
  • Outstanding all-round communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting software issues and debugging a large codebase

  • The base salary offered for this position ranges from: $180,000-$195,000 yearly in local currency depending on experience
