What We're Looking For

7-14 years of experience in product development. Should have seen an entire product lifecycle.
Hands-on experience with system design and microservices architecture, with exposure to AWS cloud services or equivalent (Azure, Google)
Well-versed with tech stacks like Nodejs, Python or AngularJS
Be hands-on, pairing with and mentoring developers in writing quality code as needed.
Build visibility for Smart Joules’ technology leadership.
Experience in AI, ML, and IoT preferred but not mandatory
Provide strong leadership and guidance to the engineering team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Recruit, train, and mentor engineering staff, ensuring the team has the necessary skills and resources to achieve objectives.
Set clear performance goals, conduct regular performance evaluations, and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Develop and implement the overall engineering strategy aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.
Drive the execution of engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time and meet quality standards.
Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement appropriate mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements, prioritize projects, and allocate resources effectively.
Drive a culture of quality consciousness and continuous improvement within the engineering team.
