Very interesting!
I was researching a little more about the contribution that women have made to technology and you really come across very exceptional cases.
I liked a lot what Ada Lovelace did.
Women in tech face challenges such as gender bias, lack of female role models and mentors, limited networking opportunities, work-life balance, and impostor syndrome. Companies can create awareness programmes to combat gender bias, encourage female leaders to mentor and provide guidance, create virtual networking opportunities, offer flexible work arrangements, provide childcare support, and provide training and support to help women develop self-confidence. By advocating for change and creating an inclusive workplace, we can ensure that women have equal opportunities to succeed in their tech careers.
I agree with you shushank! Luckily I think that women in technology and its importance is growing a lot. In fact there are many organizations and women's groups that have this as a goal. However, I think there is still a long way to go.
I leave you this article I wrote in Outdefine's blog on the subject: https://www.outdefine.com/blog/breaking-the-gender-barrier-in-tech
