I think we are making great changes in the green-tech area, there is a great awareness but at the same time I think it is necessary for big companies to make big changes in their processes, systems and agendas.
There are many new companies dedicated exclusively to cleaner technologies. In fact in the blockchain arena, there is a whole current called ReFi (or "regenerative finance") aims to foster a more sustainable and equitable economic system with blockchain. In theory, ReFi projects prioritize environmental and social responsibility over profit. As a movement, they aim to promote a more inclusive and fairer financial system.

But all change takes time to assimilate and adopt. In order to see change, you have to push for it, step by step. It is as the ecologist, Robert Swan said:
"The greatest threat to our planet is the belief that someone else will save it". 

Green-tech is a rapidly growing industry with many opportunities for entrepreneurs, but those with a development background may feel lost. Startups are often in the early stages and look for business or marketing-minded people, or those with experience in AI. Companies may be hesitant to invest in developing individuals, as the field is new and uncertain. However, there are still plenty of ways for developers to contribute to green-tech, such as building sustainable software, creating energy-efficient algorithms, and developing green-tech products. With the right guidance, developers can make a real difference in this field.
