I underwent a 1800+ hour full-time coding certification through a self-teaching platform known as Microverse. The curriculum involved full-time learning in a remote environment using Agile Methodologies. Through my entire education I was involved with remote pair programming and group collaboration through Github, Zoom, and Slack.

I have experience in many tech stacks an entry level developer should have such as Git Version Control, React, Javascript, SCSS, Ruby on Rails, MVC Design, PostgresQL and more.

Please visit my LinkedIn to see endorsements from my classmates. I was seen as a leader in my class as I organized a large group of driven students where I orchestrated video recap sessions and Q&A for students who were having a hard time in the curriculum.

I employed many modern planning strategies with remote partners such as written working agreements, KanBan Boards, and role setting (project leaders, time managers, etc) to create steady-flowing remote collaboration sessions where together me and my partners could overcome challenging global remote work challenges such as time-zone differences, language barriers, and coding style differences.

If given the opportunity I find myself well-suited for remote work and with a little guidance I am confident in my skills as a Jr. Developer for any company. This is my passion, and I am excited to break into the field of tech!
