- I am an intern at DRDO DGRE, working on developing a virtual simulation model for avalanche detection using machine learning. My project involves utilizing 30 years of weather data and 34 properties of each snow layer to predict avalanches. I am implementing neural networks and SVM to improve the existing model, which currently uses random forests. My responsibilities include handling dynamic snow layers, daily weather data analysis, and model prediction for potential avalanches. This work aims to enhance safety measures in avalanche-prone areas.
