1. Project Name: MetLife USB Production Management for Ingenium Applications
2. Roles and Responsibilities:
4. • Active problem determination, handling resolution of tickets which falls under MAINFRAME technology using tools such as OPC, SAR/CMOD and SPUFI.
5. • Monitoring batch operations which involves handling Job abends, providing successful resolution by finding out the root cause of an issue, restarting jobs, monitoring till the successful execution of jobs within SLA, coordinating with upstream and downstream application teams on delays, issues.
6. • Maintaining Quality in the project by finding and fixing the root cause for the ABEND (failure).
7. • Involved in Requirement Gathering, Analysis, Design, Coding and testing for FSD release issues. Problem defects analysis and finding the root cause for FSD application.
8. • Monitored & updated the status for all medium & high priority tickets.
9. • Responsible for Deployment of Releases & Disaster recovery within Application.
10. • Responsible for reviewing the deliverables from the team members before delivering to the Client.
11. • Responsible for creation and supervision of Remedy change tickets for Application Releases.
12. • Responsible for reviewing Release Code, Testing and Design Documents.
13. • Responsible for getting all the Release approvals (OPC, DB, Change man, Senior Management, etc.,)
14. • Responsible for Process improvements and Tool automations within the Application.
15. • Involved in Complex defects analysis and finding the root cause for the Application.
16. • Responsible for upgrading and maintaining the project documents (Application KT documents, Release Documents, etc.).
17. • Supporting QC team for System testing and supporting Business for User Acceptance test applications.
18. • Strictly adhere to SCRUM process, PM 3.0.
19. • Perform batch testing and smoke testing for all the applications during each release activity
20. • Documenting the problems/issues faced with the respective resolutions found and also release activities for future reference for the team members.
21. • Organize team huddles and work towards keeping the tasks done in the shift
22. • Motivate and teach the team necessary skills to handle a support project independently. Equip team to handle escalation calls.
23. Ability to work under strict SLA's in a fast-paced team environment
