Software Engineer

I am a software engineer with more than 8 years of experience in object oriented programming, primarily in the field of defense and security. I've tackled diverse projects, from developing popular mapping and communication software to addressing complex cybersecurity challenges through packet parsing, analysis, and creation of smart analytics dashboards.

I am a persistent troubleshooter and do well at debugging and resolving issues with complex software systems, and am also adaptable to new technologies for building new content. I have strong communication skills, particularly with writing, but I love to talk about the technologies I know and can give a great technical presentation, too.

Earlier in my career I solved problems primarily with C#/.NET and WPF, and later in my career, with Python and a variety of open source tools like the ELK stack, Grafana, Dapr, Docker, FastAPI/Flask APIs, and much more. Also, I have done service-oriented solution architecture with TOGAF/Zachman frameworks.

Driven by a genuine curiosity and a desire to learn, I approach each project with enthusiasm and a commitment to growth. I'm grateful for the opportunities I've had and look forward to continuing my journey in software engineering, making meaningful contributions in this ever-evolving field.
