- During my time at Detroit Labs LLC, I took the lead on shaping the user interface for automotive e-commerce applications, infusing them with the modern touch of ReactJS and ES6. One of the highlights was engineering asynchronous software programs, a move that didn't just reduce lag but gave our applications a performance boost that users appreciated.
- Diving into the backend, I developed and integrated business logic to ensure that our data was not just clean but robust, enabling the creation of scalable partial views. The responsibility extended to the advancement of our CI/CD processes, where I implemented Jenkins pipelines and introduced cron job analyses to keep our software quality top-notch. This also involved managing zero-downtime feature deployments and bug fixes on Azure cloud services, making sure our users experienced seamless access.
- On the tech front, I configured Webpack and utilized the Babel transpiler with TypeScript to make the most of ECMA script 6 features for universal application development. Being the guardian of code repositories on Azure, I made sure version control was a well-oiled machine with GIT.
- For state management, I implemented MobX, ensuring a smooth and reliable data model across our application. To boost reusability and speed up future projects, I crafted and documented reusable Storybook components. My role also had me deeply involved in business and user story analyses, where I identified and executed optimal technical solutions.
