6. • Item similarity (NLP) new API spec (similarity API design)
7. o Client needed to incorporate thousands of items written across hundreds of Subject matter experts.
8. o Utilized Natural Language Processing (NLP) to compare test questions (items) to identify potential
9. enemies.
10. o Researched NLP methodologies to determine which would be most effective from a technical and business
11. standpoint. Designed database tables, wrote comprehensive API spec for NLP service, and planned new
12. UI using mockups.
13. • API spec for new next-gen web API
14. o Created new API calls for existing software to allow access to services without UI. Prior access only via
15. website. Ensured everything that was supported on the website was properly supported in the API calls.
16. • Test comparison report
17. o After meeting client and client vendors, presented report options to determine data/content/key/scoring
18. differences between two selected test versions. Prepared mockups to present and was accepted. Wrote
19. report spec for development and QA teams. Created proposal that was satisfactory for client and client
20. vendors.
21. • IRT Import
22. o Researched Item Response Theory (IRT) models to determine user requirements over time. Support
23. importing 1,2, or 3 PL values through new import. Created mockups with informative help text to direct
24. users what would be needed to import based on IRT model.
