- Key Projects
- • Item similarity (NLP) new API spec (similarity API design)
- o Client needed to incorporate thousands of items written across hundreds of Subject matter experts.
- o Utilized Natural Language Processing (NLP) to compare test questions (items) to identify potential
- enemies.
- o Researched NLP methodologies to determine which would be most effective from a technical and business
- standpoint. Designed database tables, wrote comprehensive API spec for NLP service, and planned new
- UI using mockups.
- • API spec for new next-gen web API
- o Created new API calls for existing software to allow access to services without UI. Prior access only via
- website. Ensured everything that was supported on the website was properly supported in the API calls.
- • Test comparison report
- o After meeting client and client vendors, presented report options to determine data/content/key/scoring
- differences between two selected test versions. Prepared mockups to present and was accepted. Wrote
- report spec for development and QA teams. Created proposal that was satisfactory for client and client
- vendors.
- • IRT Import
- o Researched Item Response Theory (IRT) models to determine user requirements over time. Support
- importing 1,2, or 3 PL values through new import. Created mockups with informative help text to direct
- users what would be needed to import based on IRT model.
