I am a system engineer with over 20 years of experience in developing and maintaining COBOL applications, as well as leading complex technical projects and teams. 
Throughout my career, I have worked in various roles such as analyst, developer, technical lead, and solutions architect. In my recent role as a COBOL and MQ Specialist at Banco Ripley (Chile), I designed, developed, and implemented enhancements in the Core Legacy (Cobol) services, optimizing response times and processing up to six times more transactions in critical services.
At Naranja X, I led the design and development of the DBCORE product, an Oracle database that contains data from COBOL files, streamlining the import of this data into the company's datalake and data warehouses. I also implemented automated data extraction and update processes, improving the efficiency and consistency of data management workflows.
In addition to my technical skills, I consider myself a persevering person, passionate about continuous learning, and maintaining a positive and constructive attitude towards challenges. I have worked with agile methodologies for the past five years, which has allowed me to quickly adapt to dynamic work environments and collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
