Senior DevOps Engineer - Engineering Operations

I have around 8 years of experience in DevOps and the IT industry. I have worked in different roles like Release Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, and Sr. DevOps engineer. For both AWS and Azure Clouds, I worked on building, maintaining, and monitoring the platforms on the cloud. Worked on a number of automations to automate the platform support activities and deployments using Ansible, Terraform, and Python. Implemented CI/CD pipeline using Ansible and Jenkins. Used terraform as Infrastructure as Code to build platforms. Worked on Java applications for change requests. we containerize the APIs along with dependency packages using Docker images. By using Kubernetes, we were able to cluster the containers and monitor the containers and implement rescue actions without downtime. Worked on different DevOps tools and documentation of all the work and issues in confluence. Monitoring platforms and applications by configuring alerts using Appdynamics, Prometheus, ELK, etc. Created dashboards on splunk and Grafana for performance visualization. Used JIRA for ticketing. Worked with Powershell, Bash, Linux etc. Been in on-call support to look after production platforms.
