I have overall 8+ years of experience in IT with a lot of emphasis on microservice architecture and SDLC methodology. I am experienced in working with Spring, Hibernate, and Spring Boot in the backend and node.js, and Angular in the front end. I created REST and SOAP APIs to expose the data from databases for user consumption. I worked with SQL databases like Oracle, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL databases like MongoDB, Elasticsearch, and Cassandra. I am also experienced in orchestration of pipelines between the microservices using Kafka, and RabbitMQ.
Tell me about your current project
In my current project, my role is primarily associated with the backend microservice implementation. We are implementing an event-driven microservice architecture for our enterprise application. This architecture would involve creating numerous microservices using Apache Camel to parse the messages and send the messages to different Kafka topics based on the messageId. These messages are then consumed by other microservices that are implemented with Spring data to be inserted into MongoDB, Elasticsearch, and Neo4j. I also implemented the REST endpoints using Spring Boot to expose data from MongoDB and Neo4J.
