Hi ,This is Renusree Gosula .. I worked as a devops engineer in IBM India. 

Here are the roles and responsibilities .. 

Setting up the new build environment for various products in
Linux environment.
Involved in Git / Subversion administration and enabling
Hooks.
Involved in Branching, Tagging of code delivery at required
releases.
Recommendation of SCM/Build/Release Process.
Involved in Deployment of the application using Tomcat,
WebSphere
Automated build process used for Web Based applications
using one or more tools/Automation framework like Jenkins.
Interacting with developers to sort out issues related to Build
Automation.
Creating the Jenkins Jobs and involved in scheduling the
automated Nightly Builds.
Involved in Jenkins and Tomcat, WebSphere Administrator.
Project involved the usage of maintaining repository and
version controlling.
