Hi there! My name is Javiera; I'm from Chile, where I studied Psychology and then did a Masters in Organizational Psychology. Until then, I had always lived in my hometown, but after finishing my studies, I felt like living the same life that most of my friends and relatives aspired to achieve in the same environment I had always been in wasn't enough for me. I needed to expand my horizons and get to know new cultures and people, so in 2021 I decided to take a leap and move to Spain. I had never been to Europe before making this decision, but I followed my intuition and came here. In the beginning, and to some extent to justify my big decision of leaving everything behind, I studied a Master's in Gender Studies due to my passion for topics such as Diversity & Inclusion and equality in the workplace. But beyond what I learned in the master's, the experience of living in a new place made me know more about myself and what I am passionate about. 

Professionally, I have worked in different startups and tech companies where you have to learn fast, constantly adapt and be able to make decisions in a continuously changing environment. With four years of experience in HR and People Operations, I have a strong track record in developing comprehensive talent acquisition strategies and systematically searching for and hiring exceptional people who add value to the organization and workplace culture. On the other hand, I have enormously improved my ability to drive organizational effectiveness by implementing innovative practices. I am confident in creating a positive, inclusive work culture that attracts, develops, and retains top talent and excellent business results.
